- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I start by listening to their needs and discussing the project in detail. I confirm their goals and budget to ensure we’re aligned. Some customers just want a quick, efficient fix, while others are looking for someone who will attend to each detail, and incorporate their feedback every step of the way. Throughout the job, I keep communication open, addressing any concerns promptly. My goal is to deliver quality work and make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been fixing things since I could hold a tool, starting with projects alongside my dad. After moving out, I got my own set of tools and never looked back, handling repairs and maintenance in apartments, houses, and offices. When we bought a rental property, we upgraded the kitchen, restored a greenhouse window, painted the interior, removed carpet, cleaned up the original hardwood floors, fixed and stained the deck, and repaired all sorts of things that had been neglected over the years. I did most of the work myself, bringing in friends to help with tasks I was still learning. This hands-on experience honed my skills and fueled my passion for solving problems and improving spaces.
