I focus on creating not just proficient cellists, but musicians who share their art with empathy and a desire to connect with others. Rosa is an absolutely phenomenal teacher, she was constantly trying different teaching approaches and techniques in our lessons and would make sure we wouldn’t move on unless I was understanding something and how to practice it! Rosa has made me a better musician and given me tools that I’m using daily as a college musician and her attention to detail and expressiveness in playing has more than certainly rubbed off on me and has enhanced my musical ability like no teacher I’ve had before. I would highly recommend Rosa to any beginning, intermediate, or advanced player and who chooses to study with Rosa would be luck to have her as a teacher and mentor!

I really enjoyed learning from Rosa, her insight was very accurate and easy to understand while being encouraging and giving me confidence to keep playing the cello

Rosa brought joy to this experience, and saw value in what I was attempting to accomplish. She helped me to refine my technique, so that I could play better than I expected. I liked the way she challenged me to try new work. She even had me play in a recital, which was a great experience in overcoming performance anxiety.
