Top Shelf Renovations was great. They essentially rebuilt a part of my house down to putting in new studs. They did it ahead of schedule and with great responsiveness and transparency.

We are experienced in remodeling and have renovated several multi unit properties, complete home remodels, new construction and commercial. We have worked with several contractors around the country and have never had as terrible of an experience as we had with Sean. He lied about his background and experience, told us he had a crew that he didn't have and promised things he couldn't deliver. Even his dad (a plumber in the area) told us Sean wasn't qualified to take our job and should have never bid it. I am sure most if not all of his good reviews are fake because I have absolutely no idea how you could be happy working with him. We are still, months later paying to fix plumbing throughout the house that was done improperly along with many other issues. Sean will take as many payments as possible from you and then never finish the job and stop showing up. It was a living nightmare working with him. The work that did get done (even painting) was done so poorly that it had to be done over by a new contractor. There were plastic clips left in the grout on tiles, garbage left all over the house (since he wouldn't pay for a dumpster per our contract) including in our brand new cabinets, and scratches on the brand new wood floors. The worst was that he absolutely destroyed the slate tile floors he installed by using a harsh chemical to remove grout that he left sit too long. I had told them several times not to use any chemicals. The tile was totally ruined. We had subcontractors coming after us for money from him and all of the guys working at our house for him said how terrible the craftsmanship was. Stay FAR FAR away.

This customer locked the doors and stole $18,000 from us. We were not finished with the project and were not able to finish because they locked the doors. We are in the process of filing a law suit against this customer.

Sean and his team were able to complete our job quickly. They did beautiful work, finished ahead of schedule and were just really great to work with. Sean communicated with us every step of the way if here was any issues that came up and brought solutions to the problems he saw so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had with any in home repair. We are already looking at future projects to use them on.
