- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the scope and specifics of the project. I offer both hourly rates (starting at $50/hour) and fixed project pricing. Discounts are available for larger projects and repeat clients. I provide free estimates for projects that typically take a day or longer. For smaller tasks (2-4 hours), I can provide an estimate based on photos and additional details from the client. Clients usually provide the main materials (e.g., flooring, doors), but I can purchase specific materials if needed and provide a receipt. Minor supplies I always have on hand are included in the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process for working with a new customer is straightforward and efficient: Initial Communication: We prefer to communicate via messages rather than phone calls. This is because our master craftsman may be driving, at a meeting, or working on another project. Additionally, we want to be transparent about one thing: while our English level is not perfect for complex phone discussions, this does not affect the clarity or quality of our work. On the contrary, communicating through messages allows our manager to respond almost instantly, so you won't have to wait long for an answer. Project Evaluation: For larger projects, we conduct on-site evaluations. For smaller or simpler tasks, we can provide an accurate estimate based on your photos and answers to a few clarifying questions. Agreement on Terms: We discuss and confirm the budget, timeline, and materials on the same day you contact us. For more complex projects, calculations may take 1-3 days. Preparation: We ensure all details are clarified, and we are fully prepared before starting the work. Daily Updates: During the project, we provide daily updates, including photos and discussions of any changes or questions. Final Steps: After completing the project, we perform a thorough quality check and clean up the work area.
