Hello, I'm DJ Smillz. A brief history about me is that I am an Ohio-based DJ that has opened for multiple world-class talents such as The Aces, the frontman for the hip-hop group Migos (Quavo), Lil Yachty, and hip-hop artist Yung Gravy. My most recent notable experiences include providing live pre-game and live in-game entertainment for the Kent State Golden Flashes as the Official DJ for Kent State Athletics. I have also provided live pre-game entertainment at the Progressive Field Block Party for the Cleveland Guardians and have also serviced my talents to the LeBron James Family Foundation through the Kent State iPromise Scholars Program. I hired DJ Smillz for different events, and With each of the events he delivered a level of professionalism I had not seen from past DJs. He was always early and set up well before the start of the event. Another notable thing about him is that he is very versatile and can adapt to any crowd no matter the demographic. If you need a great DJ, there is no better guy for the job.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very reasonable. If there is a point where my price does not settle with you feel free to let me know so we can work something out!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly, I want the customer to feel at ease when approaching me about booking. I will then build a timeline of the event so that everything runs smoothly without any hiccups. I want to provide an event that fits exactly what the customer wanted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When working at Kent State's Black Squirrel Radio, I was taught how to work a radio mixer and also how to host my own radio show. With the training provided, I was able to land #17 for the shows with the most listeners in the fall of 2019!
