Teresa and her team were a huge help to us on our wedding weekend. They contacted all of our vendors in advance and helped coordinate setups, they helped execute an efficient rehearsal and kept us on track on the wedding day, so that we didn’t have to stress about a thing. Our day was perfect, and we couldn’t have done it without them. I would recommend them to any couples planning a wedding!

We hired Teresa to coordinate our wedding at a small venue. We had to organize and hire out everyone as the venue didn’t have anything other than the building and the tables. Teresa did great with coordinating arrival, set up and tear down. I had a lot of little details and she did great with setting those up and fulfilling my vision for the venue space. However I was disappointed with her communication with myself and other vendors. She said there was a lot of confusion with what was expected and who was doing what. But I feel like that’s the point of having a coordinator and that’s the job of the coordinator. Many of the issues we had could have been solved or prevented with communication. Our issues were not noticeable to the attendees, just me since I planned this wedding for the last year of my life. So definitely not a reason not to hire her. I would just recommend to both parties to Communicate deeply and often. Overall she was punctual and very professional. I was a total psycho at my Rehearsal dinner to everyone and she didn’t bat an eyelash. Very professional. And she carried out my vision for the venue and the big day.

Teresa was absolutely phenomenal to work with! I am a former wedding planner, so I really took care to find a great coordinator, and I found that in Best Friend Events. They went the extra mile in all aspects of coordinating and made sure the event was seamless! I even had guests asking if all of my vendors were from the same company (they weren't) but Teresa and her team definitely made it feel that way! If you are getting married soon, you can trust Teresa and Best Friend Events with making your big day absolutely perfect!

I cannot understate just how much I enjoyed and value working with Best Friend Events for my wedding. Teresa (lead coordinator) and Wayne (assistant coordinator) were absolutely amazing to work with. They very professional, personable, and handled everything from the planning process to day-of execution. Teresa was always responsive to my requests and very proactive in overseeing all aspects of my wedding celebration. My wedding day would not run as smoothly and beautifully as it did without Teresa and Wayne. I give Best Friend Events my highest recommendation and strongly urge all brides to book them for their wedding planning and coordination needs.

Teresa anticipated our every need. She was always within reach and handled everything in a very professional and orderly way. My daughter (the Bride) was so impressed, and being that she and two other members of the Bridal Party have degrees in Restaurant and Hotel Management says a lot about Teresa’s work ethic! The reception was at a major downtown Hotel with approximately 300 guests, and Teresa was the one that worked the magic for our event! I interviewed three wedding planners, and Teresa by far was the most organized! I am so happy I chose her, and I would highly recommend her! We could not have been more pleased with her attention to every detail!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I like to have at least one Zoom or in-person meeting with my clients so I can get to know them and hear first-hand about their visions for their event.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I began in the event industry by assisting friends, as well as doing an internship. Whenever I was involved with planning and executing an event, I had so much excitement and joy with being a part of it. That is when I knew that I had to pursue it further.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Although you may be working with a budget, some coordinators are willing to be flexible with their pricing and also include discount packages with other vendors needed. In the end, it's more about the comfortability with the coordinator after meeting and the quality of service provided.
