Introduction

I have been a full-time massage therapist since 1997. I have been trained in neuromuscular therapy, positional release, orthobionomy I, II and III, synergist structural integration, and Reiki I, II, and III. I am a very goal-oriented massage therapist. My sessions are described as deep tissue that is infused with Reiki. The majority of my clients come in with some issue, whether it is in the neck, low back, knee or shoulder. I have worked on practically every issue in the body there could be, such as sciatica or muscular impingement on a nerve. Most of my clients have a specific need, and I like to help them reach their goals of reducing tension and stress.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a goal in mind for your massage. Ask the LMT how long they have been a massage therapist and if they are doing this full time. Check out their schedule, if it is wide open, then chances are they are not very good. If you have to wait a little while in order to get in, then chances they have a good client base. Ask them if they do deep tissue and Reiki. The combination of the two methods makes for a more sensitive therapist all around.
