- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tuition is a monthly enrollment in the studio that includes weekly private lessons, periodic group classes (depending on age and skill), and all materials and supplies. Unlike other studios, you do NOT have to buy your own books! 30-min weekly lessons = $120/month 45-min weekly lessons = $180/month 60-min weekly lessons = $240/month 75-min weekly lessons = $300/month 90-min weekly lessons = $360/month
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's important for me to get to know a new student, not just their musical goals and aspirations, but also their interests in life as a whole, their personality, and learning style. That's why we offer a FREE trial lesson so you can come see the studio, meet, have a sample lesson, talk about your goals, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After playing piano almost my entire childhood, I went to college and graduate school, receiving both a Bachelors of Music and Masters of Music in piano. I also have training in Recreational Music Making, Jazz, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics. In addition, I'm certified through the Music Teachers National Association and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto Canada. I continue to expand my teaching skills by regularly attending professional development workshops and conferences, not only locally, but also nationally and internationally.
