This is from an email I sent to Jen with an update following the project she helped me with: Four months later, the closet system you designed is working better for me than anything I've ever tried in my near four decades of existence! As someone with adhd, putting clothes away is the absolute bane of my existence. My closet organization consisted of just piles of stuff. Since switching to the cubes and hanging organizers, all my laundry gets put away every time (well, almost every - old habits 😅) and I'm also much quicker and more consistent with putting clothes and other items in their proper spots.  I can't tell you how eye-opening and relieving it has been to actually have a system in place that seamlessly blends my actual real life tendencies/capabilities and the type of creative yet realistic problem-solving that make living with adhd, depression, and anxiety feel less burdensome - and as a consequence, less isolating. Every time I walk in my closet, I feel good about the space itself and I'm also reminded of the way you genuinely listened to my wants, needs, and concerns and made it all actionable in a day! You met every challenge and went above and beyond my expectations, anticipating and addressing potential hiccups before they could even take form. And you've inspired me to tackle others areas of my home. I feel like I'm looking at my entire space with new eyes. Every closet brings a new round of Tetris and logic games, which is exactly the type of nerd fun I need to motivate.  I'm definitely going to make a point to do a condo reset/refresh with you every year or two. Honestly, if I could justify the expense, I'd do it a few times a year. I love the immediate impact it makes on the space and I also really enjoyed working with you. What I feared would be an embarrassing and torturous, tedious day turned out to be a day of learning, laughter, feeling accomplished, and then immediately being rewarded for the effort.  I used to think hiring a professional organizer was an extravagance, but now that I've done it, I value it as an incredibly practical service with the power to improve not just physical spaces, but also the mental chaos that comes with living in a disorganized home. I've tried other organizers before and had a positive experience, but I definitely got a bigger bang for my buck having the Everyday Organizer help me get my life together!

I resisted calling a professional organizer for years due to embarrassment, perceived cost, etc. But working with Jen has been wonderful! She supplied a personalized contract, all costs were clear & reasonable, & her ability to see a mess & quickly propose a plan has been so helpful. She’s also kind, non-judgmental & made tackling the difficult areas of my home much less stressful. If you’re reading this & have hesitated taking this step, all I can say is that I wish I would have called Jen years ago!

Once I made the decision to hire a professional to help me with the chaos in my house, I contacted Jennifer, The Everyday Organizer. I was totally stressed out about having a stranger walk through my house and see my “mess”, but she made me feel totally at ease. Phase 1 is my garage. We had items sorted for trash, keep, and donate in 2.5 days. She has been very understanding of my needs and made adjustments to schedule dates as I requested. I have been totally satisfied with Jennifer and contracted her to help me with the rest of my home.
