Introduction

I'm a professional, classical flutist based in Cincinnati, OH. I have my BM from the Manhattan School of Music, and I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Performed as as both a soloist and orchestral player across Asia, and played in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Cincinnati Music Hall, and the Aronoff Center. Experience with teaching a variety of levels from beginner to advanced. I not only focus on the quality of basic technique, but also foster strong connections and a love for music in order to create a more well-rounded experience for the student. My teaching style caters to the specific needs/goals of the student. If desired, I will observe and include guiding practice sessions, as well as preparing for auditions— includes: schools, orchestras, band, competitions. I offer in-person and online lessons. Experience teaching ages 6 to adults with the levels of a beginner to advanced. I also include a free, short consultation/trial lesson.

We would highly recommend Lindsey as a teacher for private flute lessons for a beginner 13yo student. She was very professional, followed up with answers to all our questions with lightning speed, and taught our daughter a recital piece in two lessons. We had an emergency request for her to help our daughter prepare for a solo in a Christmas recital and Lindsey really came through for us and we were so impressed we plan on working with her as our daughter's regular flute teacher once a week from here on out. We were concerned about online lessons but quickly realized Lindsey is thorough in her teaching strategies and it is like she is in the room with the student during the lesson. She gets a 5-star rating from us for quality and value also as a teacher and coach.

I can’t say enough good things about Lindsey. She has taught my daughter so much in just the few months of working with her. Lindsey, is super professional and takes the time to identify areas that your child may need work on. Lindsey was very quick to reply to my initial message and we set up a time to have a remote lesson the same day. I was skeptical of online lessons at first, but Lindsey has made the entire process smooth. My daughter is thrilled to have her as a teacher and looks forward to her lessons every week. She was a beginner with very little experience and she's has already learned so much in our first month. I would absolutely recommend Lindsey as a teacher to those at any level, and we look forward to lessons with her for the long run.
