BANJO LESSONS-R-FUN ! :-) and I make that happen. You can't help but to enjoy the banjo. Once you start seeing and hearing your progress it drives you to go farther. Drilling and practice are essentials for learning any musical instrument and the banjo is no exception. You have to do the time but the payoff is so worth it and drives you to do more !
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Bluegrass banjo picking is a fine art and very intricate process. Experience dictates the knowledge and practice dictates your finesse'. There are some great banjo pickers that are not necessarily good teachers. I specialize in the "teaching" aspect and the importance of developing "good" habits which are essential for bluegrass banjo. There are three rules to learning bluegrass banjo: Slow (practice and learn slowly) Smooth (work the "kinks" out and get it "clean") Speed (when the first 2 steps are accomplished, speed will come to you naturally)
