We operate a bit different from the majority of cleaning companies. While most companies will provide a rate for a standard or deep clean, we really don’t separate other than by the time of cleaning. Let me explain: There are bait and switch tactics that if you agree to defined cleanings such as a standard or deep clean that if something is not on the list, you would be charged extra. We won’t do this! Instead, we see something dirty, we clean it. We charge a fair hourly rate with a defined budget of time to determine the cost in advance.
Our rate is $45 per hour, per cleaner. We always send at least 2 cleaners. One is usually my wife, or me. Most houses can be cleaned on average between1 ½ hours to 2 hours depending on environment. With our way of pricing, we define in advance a set amount of time that we call the budget. A budget is typically 1 ½ hours or more. EXAMPLE: 4 bedroom house, 3 bathrooms, can be typically 2 hours at a cost of $180.
As I opened, we don’t give standard or deep pricing. Instead, we go through some questions in advance to determine your priorities. Typically, a standard session would include cleaning of all bathrooms, all mirrors, kitchen, all floors vacuumed and mopped, surface cleaning such as tables, Etc., and more. Additionally, if we see marks on walls or dust, we clean it. We look at fans, vents, and your furnishings. If they are dusty or dirty, we clean them. When we walk into a bathroom and see it has been cleaned, we also look at the items in the bathroom. A dirty plunger, or a bottle on the sink board with toothpaste on it or a few marks of dirt on walls or cabinets will make entire bathroom seem dirty. We clean it all! Sometimes people will ask to focus on areas such as base boards. We do that as a standard. Things like inside the oven, or inside the refrigerator take a little more time, so we do them when asked adding a little extra time to budget. No matter the ask related to your priorities, we can give you a proper budget of time which defines the end price based upon hour hourly rates.
