5 stars is not enough!! Matthew was so easy to communicate with and timely responded to all of my messages. Even on short notice he found a way to meet every 'ask' I had and provided me with an amazing crew. Sam & Willie handled my project, and they were not just great to work with on the day of the event, but the quality of their shots and the final video was outstanding. Blitz truly exceeded my expectations.
Highly recommend and would absolutely hire Blitz again.
Hiring Matt was one of the best wedding decisions we made! We knew we wanted a videographer, but weren't quite sure if we could swing it budget-wise. Matt easily customized a package that fit our needs and our budget, allowing us to get the PERFECT wedding video and have the perfect wedding. From the first time we contacted him, he was professional, easy to communicate with, and flexible. I am seriously blown away by how good of a job Matt did! I knew he was good, but our video had us both sobbing happy tears as we re-lived our special day, as well as sat in-awe of his work. Matt provided drone shots which are always cool, as well as some amazing and unique angles of our details, getting ready moments and the ceremony, of course. Without any direction on our part, Matt used our vows as voiceover throughout the video, which was such a cool surprise for us. I loved this, and thought it was so cool to hear our vows rather than just a random song (no shade to songs though!). I loved having Matt's joyful and fun personality around for the day, and loved that he was interactive with our bridal party and family. It felt like he was there to work, as well as celebrate with us, too! We are so thankful for the amazing quality of Matt's work and recognize the time and energy he put into creating a special product for us. He went above and beyond, and because of him, Alex, myself, and our families are able to revisit our special day at any time. Thank you for everything Matt. I truly cannot express how grateful we are.

Matthew and Ashley were absolutely amazing. We were speechless and in awe of their production. Every magical moment was encapsulated in our videos. We could not imagine having anyone else present for our special day.

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Matt and his crew on a remote video shoot. They went above and beyond and were great collaborators on a very lengthy, tricky day of filming. Communication throughout the process was excellent, whether it was remotely over video calls leading up to the shoot, meeting up with our representatives on-site to plan and coordinate, or follow-up calls after the shoot. They put the time and effort into pre-production to make sure the production day was a success, and they navigated a number of challenging location, subject, and time-of-day changes to deliver on the creative brief. Overall, a terrific experience – I can’t recommend Blitz Studios enough!

I wish I could choose all 5 options on thumbtack for this review as the guys at Blitz studios are amazing and created a video for my Fathers memorial that my family and I can cherish for decades to come. Very reasonably priced. They truly created a phenomenal film that was beyond my wildest dreams of what I envisioned it to be. It’s stunning. Also they were kind, compassionate, and never made me feel like this was merely a business transaction. They took mine and my families grief and created the most heartfelt 11 minutes of film. Truly amazing. Highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very flexible with pricing and I look to accommodate my customer needs. I am willing to work with your budget in order for both of us to be satisfied. We can only accept certain jobs on Thumbtack due to the pricing structure of the website. If you have a smaller budget, we can still work together, you will just have to reach out to us on our website.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Blitz Studios utilizes a three part process when creating video content. It goes as follows:
• Pre-Production: Develop a video strategy based on your current objective and needs
• Production: Come on location to capture interviews and B-roll
• Post Production: Incorporate logo animations, professional music, color corrections, and more.
This is a generalized overview of our production process. The pre-production phase typically involves a face to face meeting or phone call. We discuss your needs, objectives, ideas, and creative brief for the video. Then comes the production phase, where we will come on site with our professional gear and capture all the necessary footage. Finally, the post-production phase where we chop, splice, and create the magic. We then do final rounds of edits with the client to ensure satisfaction.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.802) from Baldwin Wallace University with a double major in Marketing & Film.
