Before working together, I reached out to many other nutrition specialists and with Brian right from the start, I didn't feel like just another "number". The knowledge, the time, and the care he puts into his work and with every individual he works with truly shows. My goals were to lose a little bit of weight, improve my food quality and overall learn how to properly fuel myself when it comes to my workouts and half marathon training. We've gone over how many calories I should be consuming along with the protein, carbs and fats I should be having on workout days vs. days I rest. With being a vegetarian, he's knows all sorts of choices with whole foods where in the past I thought I had to rely on protein bars and powders for meals. Any vegetarians/vegans out there, Brian will make sure you are fueled in the best possible way!! This has been a massive comfort for me. But also eye opening in how much I needed to change things. I no longer feel lightheaded after my workouts since I am now taking time to eat right before I begin for a stronger workout. I am learning more and more how to put together a proper lunch that isn't just a snack bar or even candy - which I unfortunately did in the past almost every single day. I am not overeating when I come home at night from starving myself throughout the day. We've even gone over better sleeping habits and although very hard, he reminds me that consistency is key!! What I appreciate the most about this whole journey and what sets him apart from the others is how upfront he is with making sure I know all the work is done by me and me alone. He provides the tools and wealth of information but it is on me to take what is learned and apply it to my life daily. He does a wonderful job in reminding me that we are all human. Everyone slips up and the whole journey will never be perfect. But having him as an accountability partner has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself so far in my training and life overall.

I’m a diabetic. Coach Brian helped me with making better food choices and portion sizes. He helped me to understand the nutrition chart and how to read labels. Upon completion of my sessions with him, he offered me to reach out if I had any questions.
