If you are having symptoms, and don't know what is causing them, the best way to get a look at it, is through the Air Quality and Environmental testing service choice, that is what I'm going to do even if you have a mold problem, to see if you have other issues that may have even caused the mold problem.
First and most importantly, I will talk to anybody about their concerns. Even if they can't afford to have me come to their home, I'll give them free advice on how to improve the health and safety of their home and family. Also, I don't sell mold remediation or removal, the best way to get a holistic look at your home mold and indoor air quality wise, is to go to the Indoor Air Quality inspection service. No matter what your problem, with me you get a Mold, Indoor air Quality and Healthy Home inspection in one. With everyone else, you get a mold inspection, usually with the plan to sell you mold remediation, whether you need it or not.
I don't do Lead, Asbestos, or Radon but I can point you to resources that are sometimes free. I do mold testing and inspection, I don't do removal, but I can tell you how to DIY. I do healthy home inspections, moisture, chemical, ventilation, and microbial issues are my specialty.
Second, I am motivated by identifying problems, and helping correct them. My philosophy is if I add value to the customers, the rest will take care of itself, including profit.

Third, I strictly follow the ethical guidelines of my profession, I DO NOT sell solutions. There is no conflict of interest. I gain nothing by scaring the customer into buying a product or service that is not needed, or is something they can do themselves. I regularly am called into homes where a $5000 or $10000 mold remediation has been quoted, and that was not the real cause of the customer's symptoms or problems. If the solution proposed doesn't solve the problem and also prevent recurrence, you are wasting your money. I will tell you what the cause of your issues are, what you can do to resolve it whether that is a DIY project or refer a professional who is certified and a member of reputable professional organizations.
