FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are subjected to size of room, number of guests, amount of equipment I need to bring and length of event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to sit down to plan out the specifics of the event; set time, actual number of guests, size of venue, etc. Second I want to have client fill out music playlist sheet. This helps to ensure the music played at the event will enhance the experience of the guests. Lastly I like to pick the date, sign the contract and receive a security deposit of 25% the total bid. The balance will be paid in full before scheduled event time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started DJing at Bowling Green State University in 1991. My sophomore year I obtained my FCC license and began hosting a radio show on WBGU, the campus radio station. My love for music has allowed me to DJ many events, from small house parties to 2,000 plus student events. My music experience spans from DJing vinyl records, CDs and now MP3s. In the last 3 years I have had the opportunity to not only DJ, but to work as a Sound Technician for local and National Recording artists Stalley, Lazie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Haystack, AfroMan, Jellyroll, YG and Twista. My favorite genres to DJ are hip hop, EDM, RnB and reggae.
