FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A retainer and commitment fee will be charged. This is to ensure our time is valued and we are allocating the major of our time to our target audience. In order to have The Floating Chameleon complete a instillation, the balloon order must be at least $350. The delivery, instillation and strike down fees are an additional fee. Rush fees will be applied to the total if the initial 50% deposits have not been received with 14 days of the event($100-$150). Balloon garlands start at $25 per foot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are thrilled you have chosen to work with The Floating Chameleon LLC! We require our clients to complete a consultation. Once we have determined that we are a great fit, these are the next steps. 1. I will create your invoice for the non-refundable retainer and commitment fees. These fees will secure both The Floating Chameleon to and your date, until we receive a signed agreement and initial deposit. 2. Next, I will prepare an agreement and invoice, which in part, will contain a non-refundable 50% deposit of your total amount due minus the commitment fee for your review. The agreement will contain the total amount due, etc. 3. You are required to sign and return the agreement along with the 50% deposit back to The Floating Chameleon, within five (5) calendar days from the date sent. This deposit will be applied towards your total amount due, which includes supply costs, etc. If the client fails to timely pay the initial deposit and sign the contract, then their date is no longer secured. The Floating Chameleon reserves the right to terminate any verbal or written agreement(s). See contract for details. 4. I get busy! I will purchase the needed supplies, create any custom colors, and ensure a stress-free balloon experience. 5. The remaining balance will be due the day of the event, prior to the commencement of installation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We consistently attend balloon trainings and conventions. We have switched to virtual training due to Covid-19’s best practices. We are active in the balloon community networking and sharing tip/trick with balloon artists around the world. This allows our team to utilize different techniques and deliver next level work.
