Stephanie Mercurio is an ordained, nondenominational minister based in the New York City area. She creates personal and tailored wedding ceremonies, unique to each couple. What makes a wedding "unfiltered?" Stephanie is an obstacle course athlete and was inspired by a slogan to "Live Life Unfiltered." It was a reminder to stop waiting and start living. A reminder to stop living your life through a filtered lens. Your wedding day is the first day of this new, incredible chapter in your lives. Using pieces from literature, song lyrics, letters and poetry, she constructs meaningful ceremonies that you and your betrothed will remember for the rest of your lives. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my pricing is up front - no hidden fees. Pricing includes consultations, custom wedding ceremony, and signing of license.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know all of my clients by sending a detailed questionnaire. This allows me to intimately get to know both people and compose a ceremony that captures the essence of their relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in theatre, so no stage fright from me. I have also been writing custom ceremonies since 2015 and have officiated hundreds of wedding across the United States.
