I hired Silva to paint exterior for my three-storey house and interior for one bed room and hallway. The team did a great job! They paid attention to every detail and did a meticulous job painting. Silva's just concluded a full exterior paint job of our three story victorian that needed quite a bit of work. We had substantial peeling and alligatoring paint. It had not been painted in many years. The crew did a fantastic job prepping the house for painting. They went on to do a meticulous job painting. The outside was always spotless at the end of the day. Lorenzo and Leo were always easy to work with and easy to reach if we had any questions. We are delighted with the workmanship and value. Highly recommended. Also, our experience getting the quote initially was a positive experience itself. Unlike many other painters who didn't show up when they promised, or didn't bother to follow through with quotes, or simply seemed to pull a number out of thin air, Silva's showed up on schedule, did a real evaluation of the job, and printed a detailed proposal there and then. From start to finish this highly professional organization was a pleasure to work with.

I recently hired Silva’s to replace rotted wood on the exterior of my house and paint the entire exterior, and I must say they did an outstanding job. They promptly scheduled a consultation to assess the project and provide a detailed estimate. Their team was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, ensuring I had a clear understanding of the scope of work. When it came to replacing the rotted wood, the carpenters from Silva’s (Leo, Pedro, and other painters) were meticulous in their approach. They carefully inspected the affected areas, removed the damaged wood, and skillfully installed the new pieces. The attention to detail and precision in their craftsmanship were truly impressive. The repaired sections seamlessly blended with the rest of the exterior, and I am confident in the durability of their work. The painting job carried out by Silva’s was equally remarkable. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first set an on-site consultation for a free estimate. When we meet the potential client, we ask questions to make sure we give them the quality of work. They are looking for and educate them through the painting process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have all of the licenses and the EPA certifications, including 100 years of experience in the painting industry which we make sure to teach our staff the correct process to ensure a clean and neat job.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Silva’s painting is a four generation painting company. The origin started in Argentina. We have now expanded into New York City and Long Island.
