DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!!! WORSE THAN TERRIBLE!!!!!! erty. They destroyed our property. Gutierrez Landscaping was hired to 1) remove a single dead bush 2) remove leaves and 3) trim branches hanging over walkway and front patio 4) cut back hostas. Hiring included a face-to-face walk around property prior to any work being done and he was told we would not be there when the work was done. There were no discussions of removing more than one bush, or anything about any of the smaller plants other than the hostas. They removed the one dead bush, and in place of trimming the other mature bushes, including a huge mature very healthy rhododendron, they cut down many of the bushes to the dirt. He claimed the huge rhododendron had only a single live branch, despite the fact that the entire healthy tree had been thrown into our woods, clearly with all its healthy leaves, and we have photos of the very healthy base of the tree that remained. In addition to cutting back the hostas, they made the decision to remove 50+ healthy green ferns, denuding a large area of all plantings and leaving dirt in their place, and all the hellebores (when we spoke with Eduardo, he said he did not know what a hellebores plant is). There were large beds of pachysandra as ground cover, and he killed hundreds of plants by trampling and overzealous blowing, actually blowing them out of the ground. He denies any responsibility for any of the damage claiming he was following our orders.
