FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system changes depending on the case, but often we charge a certain fee for all pre-trial work, then if the case goes to trial there are separate fees. We are often able to work out payment plans with our clients if necessary. The fees are negotiated and specified in a written retainer agreement prior to the start of representation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get to know what the case is about, and the history of the client. Then we give them an evaluation of their case, and advise them about what we can do for them. We will answer any and all questions clients have, and we are always reachable if they think of any additional questions in the future.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Albany Law School in 2006. While in law school, I interned at both prosecutors' offices as well as public defenders' offices. Ever since graduating from Law school, I have been working as a criminal defense attorney.
