FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat fee that covers all your training needs for the LIFE of your dog. Throughout the year, I may offer discounts for different occasions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To keep everyone safe in this time of COVID-19, rather than spending 3 hours at close range inside a client's home, I am dividing my initial session into 2 parts: Part 1 is conducted via Zoom and will get you up and running and communicating with your dog so that you can start to see some immediate results. Part 2 is conducted in-person at your location 10 to 14 days later but outside (using social distancing and masks to ensure that we all remain at low risk). I will give you homework to work on in both sessions, and from there, you will contact me when you need additional follow up sessions, which can either be at your location or via Zoom (based on your preference and needs). We will have as many sessions as we need to in order to get your dog to a good place, and then you have me on call for the rest of your dog's life in case anything else comes up or you need a refresher.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all ages, breeds, sizes, and issues... From typical dog issues like jumping, pulling on the leash, and biting... to serious adult dog aggression, sibling rivalry, and separation anxiety... to puppy misbehaviors like nipping and stealing and chewing... and setting the foundation for housebreaking and crate training. I even help senior dogs who are having issues with blindness or deafness.
