Our aim is to keep our fees as reasonable as possible. Every return is prepared and reviewed by Abraham Cohan CPA. Mr. Cohan gave me one of the best experiences I have ever had with an accountant. He's fast, reliable, friendly, and most importantly, very knowledgeable in tax and accounting information. He will make sure that all your questions are answered and prepare your taxes accurately and quickly. He was always available to talk on the phone, answer my emails quickly, and would always do his best to accommodate my schedule if I needed a face to face meeting. If our schedules didn't match up, I was able to use screen sharing and e-signing and even online payment methods. I have gone to different accountants in the past and Mr. Cohan's pricing was more than fair in comparison. I have been going to Mr. Cohan for my tax returns for many years and I will most certainly continue for years to come.

I met Mr. cohen for tax season 2014. he assist me considerably each time I have turned to him for tax purposes. My taxes involve W-2, multiple 1099-INT forms, capital gains activity, and used to involve Student related tax Credits. Each time I have filed my taxes through Mr. Cohen I was present during the entire filing, this year I travelled ten hours to file with him; he educates me and answers all of my questions in a clear enough manner that I can get my head around my tax situation. My recommnedations do not come unearned. This recommendation is surely earned. If you want a reliable, helpful CPA for Semi-complicated Individual tax filings please consider Abraham Cohen. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial consultation is available free of charge. Consultation provides enough time to explain anything unusual on the checklist or your specific situation. Our aim is to keep our fees as reasonable as possible, while being fairly compensated for time and expertise. Included in the tax preparation fees are: Preparation of your federal and state(s) tax returns Review of the completed tax returns Filing your tax returns with Federal and State(s) Authorities Filing a tax extension, if needed However, not included in the tax preparation fees are: Corrections made after tax return completion, that are as a result of an inaccurate or incomplete information, provided to us Assistance with inquiries, examinations or audits of any kind by any tax authority Additional consultation that requires research and follow up
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll send you a tax checklist for your review. Make use of it to assemble the required documents to provide to a professional. If you prefer to interview Mr. Cohan, call him on his cell or text him. When you are ready to move forward, we will provide you with a link to securely upload the assembled documents. We prepare your tax return. If we need clarification, we'll reach out to you. Once your return is ready, usually within 24 hours, we'll have a quick chat to explain and answer any questions you might have. We'll e-File your return and you'll get an electronic copy of it. DONE! What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mr. Cohan has a B.A.s in Accounting and Information System as well as a B.A. in Computer Science from Queens College, New York. He received his CPA license in 2012 and have over 10 years of experience in the field of accounting. Mr. Cohan holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Persian and has elementary proficiency in Hebrew.
