When I first contacted Nivia, I was immediately impressed with her professionalism. She always responded right away, and followed up on all our conversations and plans. I had very little time to find a hair and make-up person for my daughter's wedding (someone cancelled on me last minute). I met with Nivia for a trial run. I had a general idea of what I wanted for my hair. She showed me several photos, and I described some vague thoughts I had. Within 10 minutes, Nivia had styled an updo for me that was absolutely beautiful. I was amazed that she not only "invented" something on the spot, but that it was perfect. We spent some time experimenting with make-up. I had very sensitive skin, so she was careful to find products that wouldn't irritate. She understood the look I was going for, and made every adjustment accordingly. Although I was exhausted after a long day of work, somehow Nivia had the energy to spend more than few hours with me - until she was sure I was happy! The day of the wedding, she knew I was extremely stressed. She was very calming and reassuring. She recreated the hairstyle from the trail perfectly, and my make-up was flawless. She took every suggestion we had discussed previously, and the result was lovely. As soon as I arrived at the wedding, my daughter exclaimed, "MOM! Your hair is GORGEOUS!" I received more compliments on my hair than I could count. (Everyone thought I had extensions put in; I was constantly explaining it was all my hair.) The make-up lasted all day and night. The finish was perfect; it was clean and flawless, and exactly the natural look I wanted. Nivia made sure the make-up was glamorous but not overdone. Somehow she made all my wrinkles disappear! The only thing I needed the entire time, was a touch of lipstick now and then. When I got home after the wedding, I hated having to undo all that beautiful work. I can't wait to see the photos! I highly recommend Nivia. I was so lucky to find her.
