Mike was so unprofessional. Was having personal phone conversations while working. Walked over my carpet with his dirty shoes. But the worst was I called him as soon as he left as the problem was not resolved. He's said he'd be back, but he'd have to charge me again, for a problem he didn't fix. My first clue should have been when he ubered here. Just the absolute worst. Save yourself money and call anyone but Silverback. The photos are from after he left

Laurie R I already left a responds to this review but it was deleted so how. Again, I asked you did you want me take off my shoes and you said no, which was a bad idea anyway seeing as though i had to carry your septic from the basement to your front yard. After running a 25 ft snake down your drain unclogging whatever that was in your pipes. The drain was draining properly and efficiently. You are upset because you called me in and said that you were back up again and i told you it was a different price if I came back out. I'm sorry ma'am but I already gave you a $400 discount and this is how plumbing works. It's your septic bodily fluids at the end of the day. Why wouldn't you want to pay someone for that? Once I test everything before I leave and it's working, which I make sure the customer always confirms (the job is done). Not a lot of people know this but most plumbers have to get tested for MRSA infection yearly. So that being said Yes I charge for me to come back out if I test it and it works. Also, yes i showed up in a uber because it was the day after valentines and I let my wife take the truck because of the snow, which is nobody's business but mine. Ma'ma I am a business owner, I have to answer my phone when it rings( sorry ). You said I did a great job before i left, So this review is for what? I even mopped your whole basement and I didn't have to do that. Understand if i have to bring a 100ft snake then of course it's more money. What do you not understand? anyway thank you for working with SHS. Hope all is well.

Do not hire this guy. Completely unreliable. The job was to put in a laundry, he did not check if the dry is gas or electric. Very rude behaviour. Left the work half way. Charged my card. Left the drainage leaking. No washer plugged in. Threatened me. Do not hire. I am surprised that Thumbtack allows such people on their platform.

First in for most, Apurva you're a Compulsive straight lying manipulator. I wish thumbtack would allow me to put the pictures of the work and our communication via text, which I already sent in days ago. First, this was not a bathroom remodel, it was a laundry room relocation (lie). I moved the plumbing and waterlines of your laundry room from 1 floor to the basement. I built a wooden platform for the dryer/washer and installed a utility pump so the drain hose could pump the water into the sewage line. I tested everything in front of your tetant Mr griffen for confirmation. He told you that everything is completed and looking good. which I sent you pictures as well in you said wow you do GOOD WORK (I HAVE PICTURES OF ALL OF THIS) I asked to get paid because the job was completed and you said no. You said that I broke a door, Then I sent you a video of the same unbroken (LIE). Listen Apurva I don't know where you are from but in america. We don't work for free. You can't add work on a contract which you tried to do. The entitled lying attitude needs to go back to your country. I filed a mechanic lien on your house because you haven't paid me for the Laundry room relocation which I completed. I sent completed work and our communication via text which they apologized to me after reviewing the evidence. You are the reason why SHS don't accept customers from your country. The entitlement and everyone is beneath you needs to stop. Mr griffen (tenant) said it and you showed me it. Again please pay the remaining balance and enjoy your laundry room. Thanks

In 1999, I graduated from Woodstock job corp with a Construction Landscape certification. After, I was hired by a remodel and renovation crew, where I was there for 20 years actively. Started from being a laborer and left a finish man. Then I was trained as an appliance tech at a reputable appliance company, where I was there for 10 years. I have over 25 years of active construction and appliance repair experience.
