A tile expert, not just someone who lays tile. We needed outdoor waterproof tile with complicated expoxy grout. John also provided helpful referrals to tile store and contractor to repair surprising wood rot under old tile. Excellent tile work!

We were 'wowed' by the entire experience and recommend John without any reservation or hesitation to everyone. Our project involved installing angora herringbone as backsplash for our kitchen. Prior to meeting John, we had hired an experienced general contractor but later learned that on a scale of 1 to 10, angora herringbone is a 10 in terms of difficulty, so you have to know what you are doing. The job that contractor did was so bad we terminated them after four days of fruitless work and a messed up kitchen. Scarred from the experience, we decided to seek a specialist and John at AJ Tile, hoping for the best. Not only did they complete the entire job in record time, it was done beautifully and on budget. No drama, no surprises, no delays, no excuses. This alone merited 5-stars in my mind but the unexpected kicker is that John is also a great communicator, highly responsive to calls or texts and one of the most polite and affable people I have met in a while (and especially in the construction field). Quality work by a quality team. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the entire experience.
