Kunal Gala — Music Theory & Composition Lessons

Kunal is an award-winning composer, conductor and percussionist who is passionate about sharing his love of music with all ages. He believes in taking a holistic approach to music theory and aural skills, being sure to always incorporate the repertoire and historical context of the subject on hand, while also striving to maintain a direct and practical teaching style when introducing new concepts. Kunal holds degrees in composition and conducting from the Juilliard School and Berklee College of Music and studied Hindustani classical music as a child. In addition to classical percussion, he has experience with jazz drum set, drum and bugle corps, and musical theater. Trial Lesson All prospective students receive a free trial lesson where we can introduce ourselves and get to know each other, ask questions, and try a mini lesson.
