- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $150 for the most basic federal and state return plus $5 per additional form needed. I also charge payment processing fees, dependent on your choice of payment method. These amounts are typically doubled for married couples. I am offering discounts to existing customers who refer my services to potential new clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am utilizing MyTAXPrepOffice to compile tax returns and client information. Clients will create a profile and complete a questionnaire in order to get started. Please note that I am not yet eligible to practice in California.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate tax student at CUNY Baruch College in New York. I have previously worked in a tax office and as a volunteer preparer for Community Tax Aid, and I also work full-time as an accountant in the private capital market industry.
