FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, I do not accept projects for less than $50. I always try and be fair with my clients, and I will work with you to make the budget match your needs. If I require additional sets of hands, I will let you know, and if it will impact budget, I will give you advance notice and not do anything that will surprise you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a complimentary trial for hair & makeup services once a downpayment (TBD) is made. At that trial, I provide a skin care/hair care consultation to make sure that your skin & hair is in the best condition for the day of the event, and so that there are no surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience working with makeup in the theatre, as a Mary Kay Consultant (where I lead glamour sessions and educational nights for consultants and guests), and I am a Paul Mitchell the School Danbury graduate, where I was in the Phase Two (Honors) program, and received certification in hair extensions. I am now a national Educator with Manic Panic and a member of The Unicorn Tribe due to my national recognition in hair color. Additionally, I am a CND Shellac Master Painter, and can provide top notch concierge manicure services. I am a firm believer in continuing my education, and it is a rare month when I don't attend at least one educational program. Some of that education includes high-level Paul Mitchell training with Kelly Cardenas, Melissa & Bob, Stephanie Kocielski, as well as with training specialists from Kevin Murphy, L'Oreal, Rusk, and more.
