We had Ryan do our front porch,I had an idea in my head exactly how I wanted it and Ryan worked with me and gave me my vision. Ryan and Jared were very good at what they do punctual cleaned up did a great job. We like them so much we recommended them to my mother-in-law. I contracted with Ryan in Nov. 2022 to remove a deck and replace it with a Trex deck, install a paver patio, remove a sliding door and replace with a window with all the finish work inherent in that, along with some small handy-man type items that needed doing. The patio was done in Dec. 2022, along with the footing for the new deck. Ryan assured me that once the footings were in, the deck could be done at any time, weather permitting. Fast forward to April 2023-no deck yet. I called Ryan, and within a matter of weeks, he was at my house and the deck was done. He said he'd order the window and return. I foolishly gave him another check. As you can see from the attached pics, I've been calling and texting him ever since to complete the job. He either doesn't respond at all, or tells me he'll be here and doesn't show up. He's very smooth, always has a valid sounding excuse, and sounds sincere. Out of desperation, I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.When they got ahold of him, he agreed that he had messed up, that I had been more than patient, and agreed to send me a check for $5000 for the work not completed. Again, very smooth. Needless to say, one month later and the check has not arrived. I'm attaching screen shots of my texts with him. I'm also attaching pics showing the debris he tossed into my woods last fall, the open dryer vent he left after he removed the cover, the pile of lumber and Trex he left on my lawn, the sliding door that should be a window, and the old sill that should have been replaced, along with a copy of the work agreement. Feel free to contact me if you doubt the veracity of this story. I'll be happy to show my cancelled checks showing that I've paid him over $50,000 for my home to be left in this state of disrepair.
