FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
BEFORE REQUESTING INFO (because we get charged as soon as you do), see rates above to be sure it's within your budget. (Click 'See More' at the end of my introduction to see complete profile) I strive to perform at fair & reasonable rates, along with any vocalists or instrumentalists you wish to perform with me. I set my rates to be competitive for the high caliber of musical entertainment I offer, which has resulted from extensive training and experience. If you find someone with the same level of expertise for a lower price, I will consider matching it. No one should have to compromise on quality when it comes to their special event. Ask me about a possible discount.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Crane School of Music & continued graduate work at NYU towards a Master's in Music in piano performance where I also taught 44 undergraduate students piano. I studied with critically acclaimed Steinway & Yamaha artist professors who have taught at Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, Northwestern, as well as other fine music schools and who have won international competitions along with their students. I have trained with Dr. Teresa Dybvig, director of Wellbalancedpianist, and as a result, can play for 8 hours straight without the hint of fatigue! I have performed at hundreds of cocktail hours, weddings, engagement parties, anniversaries, holiday parties, galas, senior communities, libraries, and religious services, and collaborated with dozens of seasoned vocalists, violinists, violists, cellists, floutists, and others! I've performed as a featured piano soloist with multiple orchestras, and have taught on the adjunct music faculty at NYU
