We also do not offer just service, but we do offer food with service. Even if it’s charcuterie, crudite, or dessert. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 14 years. I started Little Plates which was a very successful healthy food program for kids in daycares and private schools. I traveled the country catering micro events for the last couple years, and started a luxury picnic business on the Oregon coast & Washington state. The Hudson Valley & the Tri-state area has always been my home and the uniqueness of it keeps me coming back! Our motto- how can we bring your vision to life & a little More labor means a little more love on the plate.

Chef Lydia and her team where absolutely amazing and I can't express how impressed I was with their service. From the very first consultation, I was excited to work with their team. Lydia was exceptional and took time to understand what we were looking for and helped to work around our budget. On the day of the event, their team was punctual, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, even adjusting to last-minute changes without a hitch. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Guests are still raving about the pesto chicken pasta. What truly set Chef Lydia apart was their attention to detail and genuine passion for their craft. They made us feel like our event was their top priority. If you're looking for a caterer who will exceed your expectations and deliver an unforgettable experience, look no further than Lydia Hodges. Absolutely AMAZING dinner from an amazing chef! My friends and I will definitely hire Lydia for future events. She was a pleasure to work with! She tailors your menu to exactly your preferences and goes out of her way to accommodate any dietary needs. Her and her partner are very personable and fun people! Don’t even bother looking for any other chef, Lydia is top notch and her food is not only delicious but the presentation is beautiful as well. Everything was prepared perfectly and way better than going out to top rated restaurants. We had a great time, highly recommend!

Lydia and her team were fabulous! Lydia made my daughter’s Bach party so special and the girls enjoyed every minute. I heard from my daughters that the experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The menu was perfect, the food was delicious and Lydia even made them an additional dish as a special surprise. From my end, Lydia made setting up the details of the event easy. I would absolutely recommend Lydia and her team to anyone looking for a spectacular in-home chef experience!

Our experience with Chef Lydia exceeded our expectations. She and her staff prepared amazingly, delicious and healthy food exactly as we had discussed. The food was fresh and the quality of each meal was top notch. The celebration for my mother's 80th birthday was made so special because of the food, smiles and service Chef Lydia provided. From the children to the grandparents, all were happy and very full at the end of each meal. I would love to book Lydia again, without hesitation.

I hired Chef Lydia for my sister’s Bachelorette weekend for a private dinner - she was incredible and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!! She was very responsive throughout the entire process and made the night SO special! She was flexible with all of our requests and the final menu was delicious. The experience started with a cocktail hour and appetizers and then dinner was served family style and every part of the meal was amazing. Chef Lydia and her team were attentive, helpful, and wonderful to work with. They cleaned up everything and put all of our leftovers away. The portions of the whole meal were also very generous and we enjoyed the leftovers for the rest of the weekend! 10/10!!!
