Introduction

I offer online tutoring and homework help for Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and basic Trigonometry. I also offer help in General Chemistry and Biology. I also offer test prep for the math section of the SHSAT. I have a BA in Biology from Binghamton University and I have over 4 years of tutoring experience at Star Tutoring Group based in Hollis, NY. I have helped numerous students go from C's and B's to A's in subjects including Algebra, General Chemistry, and Earth Science. One of my students went from a 73% average on the math section of the SHSAT to a 92% consistent average. I believe that online tutoring can offer more than traditional tutoring in terms of convenience. Using Zoom and Bitpaper, students can keep a copy of the work during each session. This means no notetaking and saving paper! (Note: Students will have to create a Zoom account) Students require a working microphone and an optional webcam in order to begin!

For students that are struggling, I usually try to find areas that need improvement such as study habits. Then, we can work on building more efficient and lasting habits. Knowing which topics a student needs help in also allows me to offer the most I can.
