- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts are gladly offered for longer jobs at my discretion. I do not charge fees but surcharges may apply when my business incurs additional expenses (tolls, special tools, supplies, materials, etc). In order to avoid overcharging customers most jobs are quoted on an hourly basis. However, I will gladly accommodate requests from customers who prefer fixed-budget pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get on the phone with my customer to break the ice, make them comfortable talking to me, discuss their project, get a feel for the customer's needs and answer any questions they may have. After that, platform or SMS messaging is used to clarify residual talk points. Customers may reach out to me anytime in case unexpected or otherwise urgent issues come up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive background in IT, electronics, precision mechanical engineering and building things. I enjoy design-type work and figuring out technical solutions to real-life problems.
