FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my horticultural knowledge through Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care with training and hands on experience from March 2013 to September 2014. Through the company, I was enrolled in a Pesticide Management course with Cornell Co- Op, which I completed in February of 2014. After taking a maternity leave of one year, I continued my education working for a small gardening firm, Garden Through the Seasons, from March 2016 to November 2016. The owner, Megan Meyer, taught me more about horticultural as well as the in and outs of a small gardening business. She decided to retire, which resulted in the delegation of her clients and entrusting me with the majority.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are having any reservations, always ask questions and if they are unable to answer them in a way that you are comfortable, it may not be the best fit. Find someone who will respect your requests and honor your visions. It okay to not have every inch mapped out, that's where we come in and you need someone who relieves your stresses and never creates them.
