Introduction

I teach jazz, rock and classical. I try to be the teacher that I would have wanted as a student the one who listened to me to let me learn what I wanted, not what she wanted! I do make sure the students have a solid foundation to build on while learning these fun things. I love sharing music with others, whether in person or via FaceTime or Skype! I love working in a field where I make a difference. I love helping people reach their dreams. I charge by the month. Monthly lesson tuition depends on the plan you choose. I teach on days listed on my website calendar, which is very similar to a school calendar. Most updated version of pricing and policy is on my site.

From the minute Gena walked through the door, I knew we were a perfect fit. Her mix of linear and creative approaches to teaching piano has helped me grow as a musician and thinker. She finds ways to make small chat in-between informative instruction which helps the student's mind digest all the new musical material. Gena is a genuine person and knowledgable teacher who I would recommend to anyone :)

We've Had 3 lessons but so far it's been wonderful. My 5 year old enjoys Gina and her lessons. She is very good at holding her attention and gauging when my kid has had enough. We are just trying out the piano so the trial price is perfect. Gina is punctual and professional.

It is not complicated, but it is in my policy. I do not charge by the lesson. I charge by the month. See my policy on my website; it is on my profile page, I think!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask that they register through my business website, but I am happy to speak with them by phone or text or email (or whatever!) first!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend Piano Teachers Guild events/workshops and local events for piano teachers. I also attend events held by local music stores, and I attended Tritone Jazz Camp.
