The bottom freezer on my French door refrigerator suddenly stopped working. I have a GE refrigerator that’s under extended warranty. I called for service and a GE technician diagnosed it as a blown thermostat and board. They ordered the parts but told me they would not be able to install them because of the location of my refrigerator (tucked in a corner opposite a L counter). I told them that they could probably have to take the doors off to move and access the rear of the unit. They said it was against their rules and couldn’t be done. Long story short, I called GE back and told authorized me to pay an independent contractor to fix the issue with they will reimburse me. I texted SV Appliance and they responded immediately and said accessing the rear would not be an issue. They arrived promptly and installed the parts ordered. Before they installed the parts they diagnosed the issue as a coolant leak and said they don’t think it needs the parts ordered. I told him to put them in anyway and that I have to get GE back to agree with that. Parts didn’t fix the problem but the same GE tech returned and agreed with their assessment! Point being they did better and more complete work than GE! Highly recommend.

Needed a washer repair. Santo showed up when he said he would, diagmosed the problem quickly, quoted the price, ordered the parts kept me aware of when the parts arrived, came back promptly and did the repairs. Wish he took credit cards but understand why that's an expense for him. He does take checks as well as cash. All in all, very satisfied.
