I am a NYC based yoga instructor with extensive experience teaching private, group, and corporate classes. I enjoy working with a large variety of students and have taught a wide range of ages, experience levels, and conditions. I offer a warm and supportive teaching style, a keen understanding of body mechanics, and personalized plans based on your interests and goals. My clients report a large variety of benefits, including improved ease and breadth of movement, strength, and stamina, as well as a greater sense of calm, grounding, and mental clarity in their daily lives.
I am trained in Vinyasa yoga, Restorative yoga, Trauma-sensitivity, and the fundamentals of Iyengar yoga. I am a proud graduate of Threes Physioyoga year-long Advanced Teacher Training, which combines the sciences behind Physical Therapy with the traditions of yoga, especially for those seeking support for pain, injury, and special conditions. Beyond this, I come from a professional dance background and have studied anatomy, kinesiology, and multiple movement modalities extensively. In addition to my varied roster of private clients, my teaching experience includes several of the top yoga studios in NYC, multiple online platforms, apps for healthcare workers and major sports brands, and international guest teaching. I also train and mentor new yoga teachers and lead domestic and international retreats.
Every session looks a little different. Depending on the nuances of your needs, we can do a classic asana practice, breathing techniques and meditation, find stillness and relaxation with restorative yoga, or create a plan for your strength and mobility. Very often, we'll find a unique blend of several of these. I teach absolute beginners to experienced practitioners. I teach those in pain looking for complementary practices to support their injuries or conditions. I teach families and couples looking for a way to connect and special events for groups and clubs. I teach athletes to CEOs to actors to everyone in between. We can meet in-person in the New York City area or online.
Very simply put, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you in getting where you'd like to go. It's a joy to meet new people, adapt to their practice, and move forward together. I look forward to working with you!
