Introduction
Hey! My name is Alexa and I am a 450 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor (2 separate 200 Hour trainings) specializing in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga. I graduated from NYU Gallatin where I pursued a BA studying the Integration of Mindfulness and Eastern Philosophy with Performance, and minored in Child Psychopathology.
In my sessions, I like to focus on ways to make your practice sustainable and enjoyable - as we never working for our practice, but we allow the practice to work for us! Expect hands on adjustments, alignment cues, and good energy!
Having studied under teachers I have long admired such as Bethany Lyons, Brittany Bamrick, Dawn DeLeonardis, Jonah Kest, Ava Johanna, Ashley Griffin and Andrew Sealy, I love being a constant student of this practice and sharing what I have learned with others!

Alexa is one of the best yoga teachers in NYC!! She is an amazing yoga teacher and also so kind and her energy is infectious! Each class she teaches is packed with great music, a strong flow, and immensely helpful alignment cues. For years my shoulders would hurt after I practiced yoga, after a couple of classes with Alexa her alignment cues for poses like downward dog and planks completely saved my shoulders and really improved my practice! I also love how her classes incorporate meditation, which I now practice off my mat as well! She's super communicative and I loved how easy it is to schedule our yoga classes at my apartment's gym, or at the park! If you’re looking to start your yoga journey, improve, remain consistent, or advance your practice choosing Alexa as your yoga teacher will be your best decision ever!
