I'm really enjoying my sessions with Michelle at Lina Rose Studios. As a complete novice, she's working with me on a lot of incredibly useful technique. I'm learning so much about the craft of voice work, and about myself! I find myself listening to my audiobooks and starting to hear "technical stuff" and it's just fascinating. When I get stuck on a concept, she always has another way to help me wrap my brain around it. I'm really glad I chose to work with her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe everyone should be able to explore their love for the arts, which is why we offer a sliding scale for lessons. Please ask us about our discounts! We want to help you achieve your goals! If you recommend our studio to a friend and they begin lessons, you will receive a free lesson for spreading the word! We also offer trial sessions at a discounted price (available by request) to make sure we are a good fit for you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson will consist of getting to know you, your goals, needs, and concerns. We evaluate your skills and pinpoint areas in need of improvement and, from there, formulate a plan to help you achieve your goals. All lessons are customized to best help you. You will receive personalized exercises, assignments and technical coaching meant to help you hone your skills and help you succeed in your chosen field!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I, the owner, have a BFA in the performing arts from NYU and over 25 years of training in vocal and acting technique. I have worked with children and adults alike throughout the East coast for over a decade.
