Having classes with Filip Pogady increased my skills on the violin immediately. I can see and feel a huge progress within the lesson. He showed me what I should change in may playing and he is absolutely able to explain it in a way, everybody would understand! Besides to be a class A violinist himself, he is a super friendly and down to earth person!

Lesson with Filip have been rewarding to say the least. He has helped tremendously shape and tweak my playing into a more well-rounded and refined sound that any musician can come to appreciate. He is able to demonstrate and articulate through the violin the complexities that come with playing any difficult instrument by giving solutions through difficult passages, but most importantly is encouraging throughout the entire process - and fun, too! He is a true master of his craft and I continue to look forward to many more lessons.

How can I put into words the amount of knowledge Filip has to offer? Mr Pogády and I worked together very recently in a lesson I wish I was able to record. He is such an intense and powerful performer, so naturally I was a bit nervous entering my first lesson with him. Filip is a very thoughtful and down to earth teacher all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and the level of expectation a Concert Soloist normally would from a pupil. Definitely worth every dollar! I plan on coordinating with him in the future about a weekly lesson.

$120 per hour if the student comes to my studio. $20 additional travel fee, if I come to the student (New York City only)
