After, you will receive a comprehensive Session Summary of what your student accomplished, tutor feedback, and a personal plan for moving forward in the learning process. We ensure they stay on track! Test Prep: We offer sessions in SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IB, AP, & More! Because we only work with students 1:1, they get the individual attention they need to improve efficiently. I was very impressed with Ivy League Tutors and Admissions Counselors! We used them both for SAT support, and with help through the college application process. I really liked the flexibility they offered and the opportunity for my daughter to connect with peers for support. As a result, my daughter was accepted to several top schools. Highly recommend.

My son is a good student (currently a freshman at one of the IVY league schools) but had some challenges in ACT science with an average practice score of 32. After some research, we decided to enlist Michael's service based on the great reviews as well as the quality of his instructors - he had no problem to match my son with a wonderful instructor who had a perfect ACT score which worked great for my son since he started from a good baseline. Another benefit was that Jordan is a college student with similar age, my son found that it was easy to connect, relate to and less intimidating. Jordan is an excellent instructor. My son enjoyed working with her and found the tutoring sessions very helpful. She is super smart, extremely knowledgeable about ACT science, really nice to work with, easy to talk to, professional, punctual and kept me well informed of the lesson plans, assignments and my son's progress. With her help, my son eventually scored a 34 in ACT science which was a huge improvement from 32. Thank you, Jordan! Although he ended up using his SAT score for his college application since that turned out to be higher than he had expected, we are grateful for Jordan's help since that provides a good alternative if my son had not scored higher in SAT. Michael is great to talk and work with and his business operation is very professional and smooth. He has great attention to details. My only suggestion is that he might want to (if not already) delegate some of the work to other team members so he could be a little more responsive at times since he seemed (to me) a little bit overwhelmed by his many responsibilities for a successful business that need to respond to clients in different time zones. I would highly recommend Michael's service.

Our son came away from his tutoring session excited about Physics! Despite always being excited about math and science, he wasn’t getting his academic needs met in class. However, after just one tutoring session he said he was actually taught the material and comprehended it! As a parent, it was such a relief and so refreshing to see our son excited about learning again! This investment has continued to pay huge dividends because it provided foundational learning upon which our son can regularly build on for subsequent lessons! We will continue to regularly leverage and highly recommend this team going forward!

My daughter is preparing for her ACT, and needed help reviewing for the math portion and with test-taking strategies. She's gotten a lot out of her tutoring sessions with Michael and another one of the tutors on his team. Michael started by assessing her skills, and creating a clear plan for improvement. We both feel that she's better prepared and far more confident going in to this important test!

"I highly recommend Dewey Smart as a tutor for middle and high school students. As the parent of an 8th grader who will be starting high school next year, I have been very impressed with Dewey Smart charismatic and passionate approach to teaching. He has a natural talent for making complex concepts easy to understand and has helped my child excel in math. When beginning with new students, we also want to learn as much as possible, and this starts with a FREE 30 Minute Consultation Call. This is especially important when designing a personal College Counseling plan to maximize your potential!
