FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer transparent, value-based pricing that reflects the complexity of the work and the level of support you need. • Personal tax returns start at $550, with expat or more complex filings (schedule C, foreign income, rental property, multi-state, etc.) starting at $850+. • Business returns (S Corp, C Corp, Partnership) typically start at $850–$1,500, depending on structure, bookkeeping, number of states, and dormancy. • Ongoing bookkeeping is available as a flat monthly rate based on volume, number of accounts, and reporting needs. • Tax advisory and cleanup work is billed hourly or quoted as a project. • Fractional Controller/CFO services are offered on a retainer or project basis. We’re happy to provide a free consultation or review prior filings quickly to determine the most accurate quote. No surprise fees, just clear expectations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free discovery call or consultation to understand your goals, current situation, and any urgent needs; whether it’s a tax deadline, bookkeeping cleanup, or setting up a financial system from scratch. From there, our process usually looks like this: 1. Onboarding & Document Collection We’ll send you a secure link to upload any necessary documents (prior returns, financials, notices, etc.) and clarify anything we need to get started. 2. Scope & Quote Confirmation After reviewing your information, we’ll confirm the scope of work and provide a clear quote—either as a flat fee, hourly, or monthly retainer. 3. Work Begins Once we’re aligned, we’ll dive in. We set up regular check-ins and reporting for ongoing work (like bookkeeping or CFO services) so you’re always in the loop. 4. Review & Support Before anything is filed or finalized, we walk you through our work, answer questions, and provide advice you can use. We want you to understand your numbers, not just receive them. We’re big on communication, transparency, and making this process feel smooth, not stressful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our firm brings together nearly 20 years of expertise in tax, accounting, and financial operations. We support a diverse range of clients, including individuals, startups, nonprofits, and multi-entity businesses. Our founder has held senior roles at EY (Ernst & Young) and PwC, where she worked directly with high-net-worth individuals and multinational businesses, advising on complex tax planning, cross-border compliance, and wealth structuring. She has also served as a Fractional CFO for the past four years, helping small businesses and nonprofits build GAAP-compliant financial systems, improve reporting, and make strategic decisions with confidence. We are a collaborative team of Enrolled Agents (EAs), CPAs, and Financial Planners, which allows us to offer full-scope financial services under one roof—from tax prep and catch-up filings to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. We stay current on tax law, nonprofit accounting, and financial best practices through continuing professional education (CPE), and we’re certified in leading tools like QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Gusto, and many more. Whether you’re filing a simple return, managing multiple entities, or preparing for your next board meeting, we meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity.
