FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing varies based on the complexity of the case and type of services provided. On most tax resolution cases we offer a payment plan after 30% deposit. Our clients know that we are not cheap, but they know they are receiving a great value for the quality and level of services we provide. When we proactively plan our client's taxes or provide qualified tax representation before the IRS, the benefits and savings client realizes most often outweigh the fees they pay us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In a typical tax representation case we first qualify every single prospect to make sure we can help and there is a need for our services. Once prospect becomes a client, we have a simple 3 step process: 1. Investigation-we analyze client's tax situation and develop a plan 2. Compliance-we bring client into compliance (unfiled tax returns) 3. We work with IRS/State authorities to resolve the case. Our accounting and tax planning services follow similar pattern. We interview our client and analyze all available documents and reports to create a tax plan that we implement, maintain, review and update on a regular basis. We also educate our clients via monthly newsletter, regular tax tips, SMS tax reminders, video material, FB group, etc. This allows us to better serve our clients in the long run.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Enrolled Agent authorized to represent clients before the IRS with a degree in Finance from Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business, certificate from IRS as an Acceptance Agent, which allows me to help foreign clients with Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) and certificate of Tax Resolution Specialist from the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers and over 10 years of experience in the field. My EA license requires me to obtain 72 hours of continuing education every three years, with a minimum of 2 hours of ethics every single year. I am also an active member of National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) that encourage ongoing education and group collaboration to ensure that members provide highest level of service to the tax community.
