I am a New York and San Francisco actor, voice-over artist, improvisor, and teaching artist. I am professional, reliable, and have been working in the industry for over 25 years. Specializing in Shakespeare, I have my BFA in drama from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and my MFA in acting from Columbia University. I give private lessons in acting, public speaking, all aspects of Shakespeare, improvisation, and anything theatre-related you can think of. I also do voice-over work. Auditioning can be scary at the best of times and so when I snagged an audition for two principal roles in a MOW after Id taken a three year break from the biz, I knew I needed help. Things were compounded by the fact that I was new to NYC and not plugged into the acting community the way I was back home. After a trusty ole google search, I found Sarah Eismann. Her credentials and experience were impressive enough, Columbia University and solid classical theatre work, but what really sold me was an online clip of her in a scene where her acting style was natural and intimate. We agreed to meet and Sarah did some preliminary work with me before we put my audition on tape. She forced me to think about where I was and what my motivations were for each line. She guided me expertly and patiently through some scary creative waters while being encouraging yet honest. Her passion and love for teaching are obvious and I enjoyed working with her. I could not have gotten through such a big audition so well without Sarahs help. She coached me enthusiastically, taped the audition and then with a very quick turnaround sent me a nicely edited professional looking package. I recommend Sarah Eismann without reservation as your go to prep person when you have an audition and want to give yourself a competitive edge.

I love working with Sarah! She really know how to build a schedule for me before the audition since I'm a Chinese and know nothing about acting before! She gave me different notes to help me improve every session and it's totally worth every single penny to work with her. I had a wonderful experience working with Sarah. I’ve never had anyone give me such useful feedback on my public speaking strengths and weaknesses. She is extremely perceptive, and got to the root of why I speak, gesture and act as I do. She challenged me to go outside my comfort zone, with positive reinforcements and results. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for multi-session packages: $65/hr for an 8 session package $70/hr for a 4 session package $75/hour for single sessions In order to reserve your session day and time slot, sessions must be paid for at least 48 hours in advance. CANCELLATION and NO-SHOW POLICY I understand that things happen, and life sometimes takes an unexpected turn. Please be considerate and give at least 24 hours notice of a cancelation or request for reschedule. In order to respect everyone's time I have a 24 hour CANCELLATION and NO-SHOW POLICY charge of 100% of the session. Thank you for understanding!
