Hi! I'm Hayley Jannielli, an actor, creator, communicator, and coach based in New York City. MOVEO Voice trains leaders, performers, public speakers, movers & shakers to communicate with clarity, humanity, and impact. We don’t do stuffy, polished talks with rehearsed stock gestures and manufactured delivery. MOVEO reunites you with your inherent vocal power and dynamic personal presence so you can step into rooms and onto stages ready to engage your listeners, communicate persuasively, and shake up the world with your game-changing message. A San Diego native, I now live in Harlem with my husband Jeremy and our beagle-mix Rocky! Outside of MOVEO and my creative projects, I have an active teaching life in academic institutions and private conservatories around NYC. I'm currently the Head of Voice & Speech for CAP21 at Molloy University, as well as teach the acting students of NYU at The Lee Strasberg Studio. I have frequently direct graduating showcases for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and love helping young actors find monologue and scene material that makes them shine. Through my years of training and experience as a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher, both in group settings at the university level and 1:1 with clients of all ages, I have become deeply acquainted with the psychosomatic factors that cause a person to feel stuck when it's time to speak or perform. Through experiential exercises, rich discussions, curated role-plays, supplemental resources, and personalized feedback, I guide people toward a deep and lasting connection with their most invaluable asset: their Voice.

Hayley's style of teaching, especially her gentleness coupled with her extensive knowledge of the Linklater voice progression, really works for me. She treated me with ample kindness and skill, knowing precisely when to push me and when to let me breathe—allowing me to feel supported and safe. As Hayley helped me prepare for my Shakespeare monologue, she encouraged me to retain my own interpretation of the text instead of simply telling me what to do. This allowed me to feel more 'in' my body and vocal posture, even with language that was foreign to me. Hayley's hands-on approach to working, with constant consent check-ins and appropriate sanitization, of course, is extremely useful to me. Through it, I can understand exactly where tension lies in my body. We did the monologue multiple times with mutual reflection on my vocal production after each performance, which only helped my voice get stronger and clearer as required for the circumstance of my monologue. I left the room, after only a 30-minute session, feeling energized, free, and knowing exactly what I needed to work on in the next few days to perfect my performance. (I did end up getting the part, and so I have a majority of the work to owe to this solo session!) Hayley is inspirational, professional, and highly knowledgeable in her guidance. I very highly recommend her for your vocal training/workshopping pursuits!
