Introduction
As a dancer and fitness instructor with 8+ years of experience teaching various modalities (Pilates, barre, HIIT) I have a unique teaching style with a strong emphasis on form, alignment and body awareness. Each of us wakes up on any given day with a different body - different aches, pains, energy or endurance. I encourage my clients to find balance in their own mental and physical approach to movement - knowing where personal limits are, when to pull back, and when to push and find opportunities to grow.
I am certified as a NASM personal trainer as well as in Pilates Mat and as a PROnatal trainer (pre/post partum). For the last 4 years I have been teaching Pilates Mat classes at Equinox and privately.

Rachel is a highly talented Pilates instructor, my favorite one ! She explains very well movements, is attentive and corrects you during class.
She will motivate you in class to go further and work out more but also reminds you to respect your body if you need to slow down. I am very impressed with her teaching skills, she makes you feel comfortable but also makes this type of class so fun ! Icing on the cake !

Rachel is an excellent teacher because she understand’s her client’s individual needs and explains exercises with such intelligence, creativity, and a deep knowledge of human anatomy. She has an incredibly loyal student following because she brings out the best in everyone she teaches, by empowering and safely challenging. I feel so fortunate to work with her on my strength training and alignment, I can truly say she has greatly enhanced my physical capabilities and wellbeing. I highly recommend training with Rachel - she is also an absolute delight to be with.
