I've been studying piano, as a student like you, for over 30 years! I know what it's like to go through challenges at every stage of learning music! I was always a pianist at heart, from the first memories I had as a kid. The piano is my greatest passion. Creating music is what I most love to do. I am turning around and injecting as much of my knowledge into students as I can! I have studied piano at some of the most well respected colleges and universities in the world. From the University of North Texas as a Bachelor of Music to the Manhattan School of Music where I earned my Masters - both in my passion field, Jazz Piano Performance. With a robust playing history in 3 areas of the country - San Francisco, Dallas / Fort Worth and New York City, I've taken my craft into so many different places, testing what I know on all sorts of audiences, and bearing the stamp of approval from educators such as Dan Hearle, Taylor Eigsti, Phil Markowitz, Dave Liebman, Christian McBride, and so many more. Landing in the New York City area, I continue to engage in performance and teaching at the highest level possible, expanding my performance and composing music, so that I can share more things with students. From the Barry Harris school to the Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock schools of playing, I can get you playing the music that you dream of playing. And I've done just that with past students.
