FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are as stated and are for up to three cats or two dogs. Any more than that is extra and negotiable. I don't change extra for medication unless the animal is very difficult. I do charge extra for fluids and syringe feeding which is $10 each and is not negotiable
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I go over for a meet and greet where I meet you and your animal/s. We go over what needs to be done and where everything is. We go over emergency contacts and what schedule I'll be keeping. Then if you and your animal are going to hire me you either give me a key then or we make plans to do that before you go away. I almost always have follow up questions after if I'm going to be working for you which I'll handle via text or email and if you have follow up questions for me, please do the same.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than being certified in pet first aid through the Red Cross all my training has been on the job. Through rescue I've had to learn how to do fluids, shots, syringe feeding, pilling, nail trimming and of course basic brushing and grooming.
