Organizing and decluttering can be stressful. Overwhelm is a real thing that needs to be managed. Some people feel shame about their situations and are paralyzed with fear or simply, "Where do I start?"
I bring understanding and love with me along with a plan and a strong work ethic. We dig in, we make change and I work hard to find ways of making the whole process fun and light-hearted.
My service is always non-judgmental and encouraging. This work can hard but also be life changing. My services have a strong element of a life coach and accountability partnership. I care about you living your "best life" and together we make that quantifiable with actionable steps.
During the decluttering parts of my work, I like to speak about the true value of your stuff. I work with the clients to identify what they love (and to keep that) and to identify what they don't love (and toss/recycle). I like to focus on your WHY. Why do you want less stuff or an organizational solution? When you hit a snag or feel stuck but have a solid why, you'll always have a solid place to go to get you back on track and make an informed decision.
knowing what you love, what you use and what is useful to you, is a muscle. I educate, discuss and help you exercise it to use as a barometer to judge the new items, people, opportunities, etc that come into your life. Do they support or detract from your WHY?
Like a trainer, I help you build that muscle.
I also help you make things look pretty and figure out the best way for you to keep them pretty long after I'm gone. :-)
I have a lot of fun making homes look pretty and functionally accessible. It's like putting together a puzzle or solving a riddle. Along with meeting new people, discussing their lives, their past, their memories, we uncover really cool stuff. We find lost items and even make (find) money. Besides sharing in your stories, this work helps people make a positive change in their life and that's very satisfying.
Organizing will change your life. Think of all the space you'll have in your brain and your life when you know what you have, you where it is, and more importantly, you know where it goes when you're done with it,
Choosing less stuff is about choosing more of the other stuff in your life that really fulfills you. It's a gift you give yourself.
I look forward to creating space with you!
Thanks!
